It was working fine until today ; now I cant even launch the app (Terminating app due to uncaught exception NSInvalidArgumentException). Re-installing does not solve this ; please fix.

Select "Download Gif" and where was it saved? Only the developer knows. No Save dialog box! Otherwise this is pretty neat. 3.5 stars. 5 stars if the secret location is revealed. Edit Apr 03, 11:37 PM After searching with Houdahspot for items created or modified in the last minute of a Save nothing related appears. So ⌘S is not implemented. Thanks ... Ken

It evokes emotions based on shared cultural references! I use it to talk to other humans so they understand that I’m part of their shared cultural in-group, and not some kind of “other”! Also it’s pretty fast.

This is a very interesting open source project. The app is needs a lot of work before it is better than what the typical user can do with a browser. Doesn’t save the download folder and tries to name the file giphy.gif, which means every time the user has to choose the download folder and type in a new name.

I love the idea, and the set up. It constantly crashes, takes a very long time to do anything, and needs a better search. I deleted it from my computer due to constant crashing, but if it worked—I’d deal with it until more updates came along.

Animated gif’s are so entertaining. Has been pretty stable for me.

This app hasn’t been updated in quite a long time and could use some tender love from the developers
